Bottega 104 Italian Kitchen

Was I the only one who got confused between Bottega and Bodega? I won a $50 gift card from What’s The Deal and Yeggers giveaway, so what’s a better time to try a new restaurant than now. The former owners of Bottega 104 used to be the Crudo brothers from Cafe Amore during its opening, but had sold their shares since then.

To make this review short, let’s dive right in!

Originally, we wanted to try the arancini but the kitchen ran out so we opted for the charcuterie board. It has an array of cheeses, meats, nuts, fruits, and sauces. Every item on here is what I used for my previous charcuterie nights and less. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but nothing special. It’s a mix between Superstore quality meats, cheeses, and fruits, and Italian Centre Shop spreads. There wasn’t any prosciutto either 😦

The best dish of the nights — pesto fries. Perfectly seasoned and crispy.

salmon pizza $21

Dill cream cheese spread, salmon, shallots, cherry tomatoes, and fried capers drizzled with a herb oil.

Great crust, lacking toppings. There was something needed on this pizza. Maybe a sauce or a touch more seasoning…

Pasta with house made cacciatore sauce, Italian sausage, pancetta, mushrooms, and cherry tomato. Good but also needed an oomph.

Although Bottega was good, it wouldn’t be somewhere I’d visit on a regular. There wasn’t anything that blew my mind or any memorable items worth visiting again. The interior was spacious and service was friendly, it’d be the ideal place for after work drinks with coworkers. Honestly, I’m out of words to describe this place except good.
