Nai Nai Mie is a small local business that started up during the pandemic back in April 2020. They offer quick and easy Indonesian noodle bowls that only takes 2-3 minutes to heat up when you’re ready to eat.
Catherine’s grandparents used to own a small yet popular noodle shop in Indonesia, and all their noodles are handcrafted with the exact same family recipe that’s been passed down through three generations.
There are currently three flavours: Chicks on Shrooms ($13.50), Chunky Moo ($18.00), or Hot Chicks ($13.50). I had the opportunity to try two out of the three flavours.

I made this dish a little more wet than intended considering how it’s supposed to be a dry noodle dish. This noodle kit contains the fresh Nai Nai Mie noodles (delivered uncooked and frozen), mushroom chicken sauce, Nai Nai Mie garlic oil, hot pickled chilies, bok choy, and crunchy toppings. The flavours are delicious when combined, however, I’d use half the hot pickled chilies if you can’t handle spicy food.

This is Nai Nai Mie’s version of the classic black pepper beef noodle bowl. It contains the rich flavour of peppery wagyu beef with fresh noodles, garlic oil, bok choy, and crunchy toppings. I highly recommend trying this bowl for your first order. Peppery with a pack of umami flavour.
How to prepare your Nai Nai Mie Noodle Kit
- Cook noodles in boiling water until noodles are al dente. I prefer mine on the chewier side so I cook it for a little less.
- Warm up the sauces and veggies in the microwave for not longer than 30 seconds.
- Drain the noodles then put in a bowl to mix with garlic oil and sauce.
- Add the veggies and crunchies when you’re ready to devour.
